“my vision, your version”

I’ve been making art for as long as I can remember. My earliest memories are filled with the scent of those giant Crayola crayons in grade school—art class was always where I felt most at home. By the time I hit my early teens, I got hooked on photography. I even taught myself how to develop film, and before I turned 21, my work landed in the Detroit Free Press. In the mid-90s, I picked up watercolors and started exploring a whole new side of my creativity. These days, I play around with alcohol markers for my fashion illustrations. But oil painting—that’s where things really changed for me. It’s let me blend realism and expressionism in ways I never imagined, all within the same piece.
